Highlights of 2022
Township’s new website at https://townofrichlandwi.gov is up and running. You can find ordinances and resolutions, voting information, township contacts, forms, and permits, agendas and minutes and soon tax information there.
Assessor’s contract was renewed with Gretchen Jelinek.
We received the last ARPA payment of $65,156,80.
Meeting notices posted at town hall, Richland Observer building and Clerk’s driveway at 29690 Crestview Drive and now on town website.
Gordon Palmer was appointed to the ambulance committee.
Township applied for and received LRIP-Discretionary Grant for Maple Grove Road for years 2023-2026. Township also received Municipal Agreement for LRIP Program for Hillview Road. Overlay on Hillside Lane by year’s end. For problems with road please contact TSBR Inc. at 608-647-4158

DAVE JELINEK IS RETIRING AFTER 30 years. Thanks, Dave, for the many years of service.
LINDA WYMER IS RETIRING AS CLERK AFTER 10 years. Thanks, Linda, for your many years of service. Anyone interest in running for these or other town board positions please attend the Town Caucus at the Town Hall at 1190 E. Haseltine Street, Richland Center on January 7, 2023, at 1 P.M.
To print/view your tax bill go to https://co.richland.wi.us, Departments, Treasurer, tax parcel info. Click Property, click I Accept, Type in owners name, search, click on property tax number, click taxes, at bottom click Print Tax Bill.

As last year I will only return receipts when requested. I try to send receipts for payments received from mortgage companies, so you know payment was made.
FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE I will be at the town hall at 1190 E. Haseltine Street on December 29, 2022, and January 30, 2023, from 11 to 1. Mask and social distancing requested.
To pay by mail please send copy of tax bill along with stamped self-addressed envelope, for a receipt to:

Please make checks payable to “Town of Richland”. PLEASE BE SURE the amount written out on your check is correct. The bank credits this amount not the numeral amount from your account and is the amount credited for your taxes. ALSO REMEMBER to endorse escrow checks made out you.
FOR DOG OWNERS – DON’T FORGET FIDO!

Please send copy of current veterinarian’s certificate for each dog 5 months old or older living in the township which should show owner’s name, address, dog’s name and breed, color and date of rabies vaccination, expiration date and serial number. Fees are as follows:
